The challenge
A real estate brokerage in three US markets had a generic WordPress site with a slow, off-the-shelf IDX plugin. Listings didn't update reliably. Lead capture was broken. Brokers had no visibility into their pipeline. The brokerage was invisible on Google for any competitive local search.
Our approach
- 1
Audited: site speed, IDX feed reliability, lead capture forms, broker workflows, and the 12,000+ active listings.
- 2
Designed a custom platform: Next.js 16 front-end, IDX integration with RESO Web API, broker accounts panel, lead routing CRM, and a custom admin.
- 3
Built an SEO-first content architecture: neighborhood pages, school-zone pages, market-report pages, listing detail pages with full schema.
- 4
Launched in 12 weeks. Migrated 12,000+ active listings, 850 broker accounts, 5 years of historical data. Zero downtime.
The solution
The platform uses Next.js 16 + React 19 for the public site, a dedicated broker panel with role-based access, a custom CRM with lead routing and follow-up automation, and full IDX integration via the RESO Web API. Search runs on PostgreSQL with full-text search powered by tsvector — sub-200ms response time on 12K listings. Every listing, neighborhood and market report has structured data (RealEstateListing, Place, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage).
